My love for digital video editing blossomed around 13 years old. I would spend my evenings avoiding all math homework, and piecing together PCD music video footage with random dance tracks. How simple life was!

I graduated from Langara College with a Digital Film Production Program Certificate and have continued my development through intermediate and advanced post-production training courses. Since then, I have utilized my training to document a variety of people and subjects such as musicians, friends, colleagues, youth, special events, food & beverage, behind the scenes, dance, and myself. Over the years, this has allowed me to improve my video production skills and build a clientele, all while collaborating with team members to advance production value.
I officially created Solay Creative Media as a sole proprietorship and began to freelance casually on the side, while working multiple other jobs. After a series of events, resulting in the loss of steady income in the spring of 2020 (who else can relate?) I decided to FINALLY take the leap and began working for myself full-time - doing what makes my heart happy. This is just the beginning!
